John Perry Wilson, age 75 of Crothersville, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. Born June 11, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of John Paul and Ruby Catherine (Sawyer) Wilson.
John was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist in Columbus where he was baptized. He was also a member of the VFW post #1083 in Crothersville. John would laugh for hours while watching cartoons. He especially enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his children, Tracey (Buddy) Jackson of Jackson, Tennessee, John D. Wilson of Crothersville, Cathy Blair of Crothersville and Jennifer (Jason) Morrison of Vallonia; his step children Marilyn (Terry) Mullins of Columbus, Joe (Teena) Schulz of Brownstown and Jimmy Schulz of Brookville; his former wife Maxine Andis of Columbus; two sisters, Jackie (Jerry) Doty of Crothersville and Nancy Burgan of Anderson, North Carolina; twenty five grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; sister in law Joann Wilson of Crothersville and several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Nancy Blagg Tuncil, whom he married in 1964 and who passed in 1984; his son Tony Wilson, his step daughter, Martie Ball and a brother, David Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00pm until the time of service.
