Jessie Fay Acton

Jessie Fay (Grapevine) Acton, age 68, a native of El Paso County, Colorado and a resident of North Vernon, Indiana passed from this life on March 18, 2022 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born on December 12, 1953 to the late Virgil Grapevine and Elizabeth (Fergeson) Robbins of French Lick, Indiana. Jessie was a Christian by Faith. She loved needlepoint, crochet and horseback riding, She especially loved her dogs and was proud of entering them into dog shows. She will forever be remembered as a calm natured, honest lady that was a good listener and a safe place that was very easy to talk to. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Ronald Dale Acton of North Vernon, Indiana. Two step sons, Kenneth Allen Acton and his wife Debbie of Columbus, Indiana and Timothy Acton and his wife Amanda of Ogilville, Indiana. Two step daughters, Tawnya Dean and her husband Michael of Waynemansville, Indiana and Stephanie Faith Norrington and her husband Michael of Washington, Indiana.
Two brothers, Richard M. Grapevine and his wife Germaine of Comiskey, Indiana and Mark C. Grapevine of French Lick, Indiana. One sister, Carrie May Smith and her husband Edward of Seymour, Indiana and step sister, Melissa Darnell and her husband Owen of Westport, Indiana. Thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Stella Sue Grapevine.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM Until 1:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home with services beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating.
