Jerry P Scott

Jerry P Scott, 76, of Scottsburg IN, passed away on Friday, January 26 2024 at Norton Hospital in Louisville KY. He was born March 31 1947 to the late O. T. Scott and the late Una Foster Scott. He was married to Jo Anna Comer Scott, who preceded him in death on September 16 2016. Jerry was a former district manager for Danners 3-D retail store and a sales representative for Crop Production. He was a graduate of Scottsburg High School, Class of 1965, a veteran of the U. S. Army, and a member of the Church of Christ. He was also a member of Quail Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, NRA, Upland Hunter, and was truly an outdoor enthusiastic guy. Jerry was a “hobby farmer” and enjoyed hunting trips with his dear friends and dogs—probably the dogs more. He always left everyone with a smile and he seemed to know everybody, from his hunting friends to his farmer friends and everyone in between. He cherished making memories with his nieces and nephews and they in turn enjoyed their memories of Jerry. Survivors: his sister Pat Conant of Versailles IN; brothers Steve Scott of Shelbyville TN and Rick Scott of Melbourne FL; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Donations can be made to Pheasants Forever or Bethel Cemetery at Leota IN. In keeping with the wishes of the family and Jerry, private services will be held at a later date………….”Good Night”.
