Jeffery W. Reece

Jeffery Reece, age 44 of Madison, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at his home. Jeff was born on March 17, 1969 in Carrollton, Kentucky to James Reece and Sandra L. (Breeden) O’Neal. Jeff served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He had worked at the VFW in Madison up until his death. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and served as a Service Officer for the VFW Auxillary. Jeff also loved listening to music with the Eagle’s Hotel California being one of his favorite. He also enjoyed listening to his brother, Jimmy’s, music. Survivors include his mother Sandy; four children, Cassie, Travis, Megan and Samuel Reece; 1 granddaughter, Greta Shambargar; four sisters, Crystal (Ben) McHargue of Madison, Gail (Eddie) Freeman of Milton, KY, Jamey (Kline) Carter of Port Royal, KY and Becky (Jason) Suter of Pleasureville, KY; two brothers, Ralph Davis of Aurora, IN and James (Katie Richey) Davis of Madison. Jeff was preceded in death by his father and step-father Arnold O’Neal. A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, August 22nd at the Vail Funeral Chapel, 117 Holt Drive in Madison.
