Jeanette Eldridge

Jeanette Eldridge, age 65 of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, May 5th at her home. Born March 11, 1953 in Oneida, KY, she was the daughter of Glenn LaRoche and Albert and Carlie (Caudill) Shoemaker. On December 12, 1975, she married Danny Lee Eldridge at the Seymour First Church of the Nazarene.
Jeanette graduated in 1971 from the Jennings County High School. She attended The Point Church and was retired having worked at Ellis Jewelers and Reliable Taxi that she helped manage with her husband. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading, and playing online card games. Jeanette would always write a thoughtful letter and include in cards for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas. She enjoyed her cat and dog as well as feeding the squirrels and birds. Jeanette loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, William Albert (Nikki) Eldridge, Ross David (Lindsay) Eldridge, Jean Marie (Carlos) Rodriguez all of Seymour and Mary Catherine (Manuel) Viveros-Vazquez of Columbus. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dylan, Juan, Gabriela, Sophia, Liam and Alivia.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a granddaughter, Lilian.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Thursday, May 10th at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9th, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and then one hour prior to service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Riverview Cemetery.
