Jane Tabor

Jane Tabor, 86, of Freetown passed away at 1:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
A lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was born March 3, 1929 to the late John and Margaret Persinger of Brownstown. She graduated from Brownstown High School. A housewife and mother, she had previously been employed at the Freetown Post Office. She was a member of the Freetown Nazarene Church.
She married Robert Wendell Tabor, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by three children, Teresa (Dirk) James of Columbus, Tim Tabor and Carrie Tabor, both of Freetown; three grandchildren, Jonathan Tabor and Morgan Tabor, both of Freetown, and Heather (David) Swank of Greenwood; two sisters, Carol (Jesse) Boyer of Seymour and Diana (Don) McKinney of Windsor, N. C., and a brother, Joe (Judy) Persinger of Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at the Christiansburg United Methodist Church in Brown County with Rev. Charles Aigner of East Columbus United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Christiansburg Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
Memorials may be designated for the Christiansburg Cemetery Fund. Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre, Seymour, was in charge of arrangements.
