Hope Engelking

Hope (Guerrero) Engelking, age 65, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 ay her residence. She was born on December 29, 1957 to the late Edward Guerrero and the late Bonnie (Tankersley) Guerrero. She was a Catholic by faith. Hope was a loving, easy going, beautifully funny lady that was always referred to as being "cool" by her friends and family. She enjoyed reading, music and singing. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Tony Engelking of Seymour, Indiana. Two sons, Michael Edward Engelking of Indianapolis, Indiana and T. Eliot Engelking of Indianapolis, Indiana. Two sisters, Monica Darlage of Seymour, Indiana and Maxine Blazi and her husband Michael of Jasper, Georgia.

One grandchild, Jaelyn Engelking.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her wishes, the family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held with friends and family.
