Jody Hazard, age 64 of Seymour, passed away at 4:45am on Wednesday, October 29th at Schneck Medical Center. She was born on March 2, 1950 in Columbus and was the daughter of Irvin and Edith (Hornback) Wariner. On April 11, 1969 in Brown County, she married Kenneth E. Hazard. Some of Jody’s hobbies were to play volleyball, bowling and doing macramé, but her real joy through life was babysitting. Survivors include her husband Ken; sons, Todd and Troy Hazard both of Seymour; granddaughter Haley Hazard; sisters Sherry Bodkins and Rhonda Wariner, both of Brown County; in-laws, Jim & Lilly Hazard of Indianapolis, Dennis Hazard of Seymour and Pamela Obermeyer of Seymour. Jody also had several nieces and nephews. Jody was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Larry Wariner. At this time, no services are scheduled and cremation has been chosen. Memorials can be made to the Hospice of Schneck Medical Center or to the Don & Dana Myers Cancer center through the funeral home. Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre is handling the arrangements.
