George Andrew Tracy Jr.

George Andrew Tracy Jr., age 48, a native of Detroit, Michigan and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed from this life on Tuesday March 16, 2021 at Our Hospice in Columbus, Indiana. He was born on November 11, 1972 to the late George Tracy Sr. and the late Linda (Murphy) Roth. He will forever be remembered as a very happy man that was always smiling and spontaneous. George enjoyed fishing, camping, hanging out with his friends and loved his dog “Murphy” and cat “Meeha” very much. George had a passion for cooking and was an excellent chef. He served as cook to Applebee’s and Chili’s in Seymour, Indiana.



He is survived by his fiancé, Dawn Gibson of Seymour, Indiana. One sister, Breana Smith of Murray, KY. Three Nephews, Jeffrey Bradley Jr. of Roseville, MI, Cameron Long of Murray, KY and Gavin Smith of Murray, KY. Three Nieces, Nichole Ickes of Sterling Heights, MI, Amanda Ickes of White lake, MI and Kaitlyn Long of Paris, TN.



He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeffrey Bradley Jr.



The family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 3, 2021 at 3pm at 228 4th street, North Vernon, Indiana 47265.
