Gary T. Greathouse

Gary Greathouse, age 70 of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Schneck Medical Center. Born December 21, 1945 in Seymour, he was the son of Audney Chester and Inez (Fleetwood) Greathouse. On July 18, 1964 in Uniontown, he married Nancy Baurle who survives.

Gary was retired having worked over 40 years R.J. Fitzpatrick Smelters. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, animals and spending time with family. His grandchildren were the light of his life.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy Greathouse; children, Larry Greathouse of Seymour, Barbara (Larry) Zschiedrich of Bloomfield and Timothy Greathouse (Pat Blocker) of Reddington; sister-in-law Donna (Jeff) Bragg of Dupont who Gary and Nancy helped raise upon their mothers death; grandchildren, Heather (Nick) Laufersweiler; Holly Zschiedrich, Thomas Greathouse and Taylor Greathouse; great-grandchildren, Preston, Alley, Henry and Claire Laufersweiler; two brothers, Marshall Greathouse of North Vernon and Wesley Greathouse of Franklin; and

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna Thompson.
