Freda M (Burnham) Moore

Freda M. (Burnham) Moore, age 81 of Madison, passed away at 6:29 p.m. on Sunday, August 31th, 2014 at Hanover Health & Rehabilitation Center, Hanover, IN. Mrs. Moore was born in Jefferson County, IN on December 5 th, 1932 to the late Roy T. Burnham and Alma (Brinson) Burnham. She attended school in Manville, Indiana and married James Leroy Moore on December 22nd, 1949 who preceded her in death on July 5th, 1991. Freda was a member of Manville Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cross stitch, travelling, family and friends. She was employed at Joyce Shoe Factory for 15 years and Grote Manufacturing for 27 years, both located in Madison, IN. She retired in 1996. She is survived by one son, James A. Moore, Madison, IN; four daughters, Sharon (Walter) Rich, Kandra Sue (Bob) Willis, both of Madison, IN, Judy (Danny) Blaylock of Deputy, IN, Tammy (Donnie) Courtney of Ozark, AL; one brother, Curt (Bev) Burnham of Osgood, IN; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; thirteen great, great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Donald Burnham and James Burnham; one sister, Thelma Hargesheimer. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 5th, 2014 with viewing at 11:00 a.m. and service at noon at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Rev. Wayne Mahoney will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Grandview Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Thursday, September 4th, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre at 117 Holt Drive, Madison, IN.
