Franklin Dale Bledsoe

Franklin Dale Bledsoe, age 83, a native of London, Kentucky and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana. He was the son of the late Lawrence Bledsoe and the late Melvina Gray Bledsoe.
Franklin was a Christian by faith and a member of the Masonic Lodge #146 in Seymour, Indiana. Franklin loved gardening, fishing playing cards and socializing with his friends and family. He will forever be remembered as a happy man with high standards and integrity. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed playing pranks on those he loved.
He is survived by three sons, Douglas Bledsoe of Courtland, Indiana, Tommy Bledsoe and his life partner Barb Lucas of Seymour, Indiana and Mark Bledsoe and his wife Lori of Seymour, Indiana; one Daughter Cathy Dugger-Hatfield and her husband Scott of Seymour, Indiana; eight Grandchildren, Matthew Bledsoe, Michelle Dugger, Melanie Bledsoe, Angela Bledsoe, Eric Dugger, Jennifer Pendelton, Janice Jones and Amanda Brown;thirteen Great Grand Children.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Eva Bledsoe.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 2, 2020 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodlawn Family Funeral Center in Seymour, Indiana. Visitation will resume on Thursday September 3, 2020 from 11:00am until the time of service. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre with Burial with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating. Burial to follow at Winslow Cemetery near Salem, Indiana.
