Feneta Mae (Baldwin) Stewart

Feneta Mae (Baldwin) Stewart, age 83, a lifelong resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at her residence. She was born on November 11, 1938 to the late Ralph Williams Baldwin and the late Bertha Elizabeth (Cooley) Baldwin. She was a lifelong member of Scottsburg First Christian Church and worked as an LPN at Scott Memorial Hospital for over 24 years. On December 31, 1963 she married the late Prentice Leon Stewart and they shared over 30 years of marriage. 

She is survived by her son, Charles Leslie Stewart and his wife Heidi of Scottsburg, Indiana, one son in law, Max Mickelson of Lexington, Indiana, one sister, Nancy Baldwin of Columbus, Indiana and three grand children, Seth Stewart of Scottsburg, Indiana, Michael Mickelson and his wife Danie of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Jordan Mickelson and his wife Brianna of Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and her lifelong friend since first grade, Shirley Beswick of Scottsburg, Indiana. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Diana Mickelson, two brothers, Robert W. Baldwin and James O. Baldwin and one sister in law, Rosemary Baldwin. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Phil Lamaster officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Scottsburg Cemetery.
