Fay M. Harbold

Fay Marie Rose Harbold passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. She was a long-time resident of Underwood, IN. She was 86 years old. Born December 17, 1935, in Lexington, IN, she was the daughter of the late Ferris and Eunice Jane Collings Rose. She worked summers at several positions: Austin Packing Factory, Charlestown Powder Plant, Memphis Travel Plaza, and as a home maker. She enjoyed making Afghans and going to church.
Survivors include her 3 children; James Francis (and Carol) Harbold of Clarksville TN., Mary Eunice (and Jeff) Eversole of Mitchell, IN., and David Harbold of Underwood IN.; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Harbold, son Roy (Buck) Harbold, daughter Rose Patterson, granddaughter Ashley Harbold, 4 brothers, Kenneth, Harold, Russell, and Cloyd, and 1 sister, Julia.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Underwood Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Sodom Cemetery.
