Edwin "Dale" Stigdon

Edwin "Dale" Stigdon, age 81, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late Walter E. Stigdon and the late Helen (Parker) Henderson. Known as "Dale", he will forever be remembered as a gentle but firm man that was loving and caring for his family. He loved fishing,camping,building boat models, the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Ann (Strong) Stigdon of Seymour Indiana, Two sons, Lonnie Dale Stigdon and his wife Della of Shoals, Indiana and Bobby Joe Stigdon and his wife Barb of Uniontown, Indiana. Two daughters, Sandra Kay Ritchey of Lafayette, Indiana and Mia Victoria Clark of Seymour, Indiana. One brother, Danny C. Stigdon and his wife Carol of Kokomo, Indiana and two sisters, Rhea Allman and her husband John of Seymour, Indiana and Sherry Harris of Crothersville, Indiana. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty - two great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Walter E. Stigdon, and Tommy Stigdon, three step brothers, William Goble, Gary Goble and Gene Goble. One sister, Phyllis Strong.
The family will receive friends on Monday January 31, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. A funeral procession will lead family and friends to Riverview Cemetery for a 1:30 graveside service.
