Edward Pennington

Edward Pennington, age 83, a lifelong resident of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at his residence in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on August 8, 1938 to the late Greenberry "GB" Pennington and the late Susie (Deaton) Pennington. He was a Christian by faith and worked for over 26 years for the Scott County Highway Department ans 19 years for Arvins. Edward loved to work on motors, and build things. He was a huge NASCAR fan and especially Dale Earnhardt Sr.. In his younger years, Edward enjoyed racing stock cars. He was a big hearted man that loved people and animals. He would often feed animals that he would find and a few times, took them in to be years long pets. He was always there for anyone who needed him.
He is survived by his beloved wife Brenda (Carmack) Pennington of Scottsburg, Indiana, one daughter, Pamela Mosley and her husband Roger of Austin, Indiana and step daughter, Leanna Browning of Shelbyville, Indiana. One step-son, Scott Austin and his spouse Noah Williams of Lexington, Kentucky. Two brothers, Bob and his wife Lynn of Florida and Lewis of Florida. Three sisters, Dora of Scottsburg, Indiana, Juanita of Arizona and Shirlee of Tennessee. Three grandchildren, Laura Cox, Eric Payne and Ryan Payne. Two step-grandchildren, Wyatt Browning and Clay Browning. Numerous great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Eugene, Roger and Earl. Three sisters, Christine, Dorothy and Imogene.
