Edward Junior Owens

IN MEMORY OF Edward Junior Owens Edward Junior Owens, age 63 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on January 8, 1952 in Madison, Indiana. Edward was the loving son of the late Edward L. and Eleanor Clarkson Owens. He was raised in Jefferson County where he attended Madison Consolidated High School before being inducted into the United States Army. Edward retired from Hanover College working in food service for many years. He was a member of the Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion and attended Hopewell Baptist Church. Edward enjoyed watching sports especially NASCAR and football. Survivors include his brother Dennis Owens and his wife Kathy of Deputy, Indiana; his two sisters Deborah Morgan and Donna Fox both of Pine Grove, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Edward L. and Eleanor Clarkson Owens, and his sister Mary Jo Owens. Funeral services will be held for Edward at 1:00 pm Friday September 18, 2015 at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road Madison, Indiana. Visitation will be held Friday September 18, 2015 from 12:00pm until time of service at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road Madison, Indiana. Full military honors will be conducted by the Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion. EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY Memorials can be made to the Edward Owens Memorial Fund.
