Edith Keller

Edith Keller, age 76 of Seymour, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her home. Born March 15, 1941 in Perry County, KY, she was the daughter of Elmer and Mary (Stidham) Colwell. Edith was married to Buddy Keller on June 4, 1958 in Austin, Indiana.

Edith was a member of the New Beginnings Church of God. Buddy and Edith enjoyed traveling. Edith enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Buddy; brother, Raymond Colwell; Edith also leaves behind her two chosen daughters, Sarah (Dave) McIntosh and Mary (Ronnie) McIntosh and grandchildren, Holly (Doyle) Barrentine, Karrie (Jason) Green, Crystal (Preston) Lawrence, April (Jeremy) Harding, Jace Walters. She also had 9 great-grandkids, Elijah Cole Walters, Lila Mavery Lawrence, Devon (Hannah) Harding, Levi Harding, Caleb and Lydia Barrentine, and Lauryn and Noah Green. Edith also had a host of nieces and nephews.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Louise Hamblin, Beecher Colwell and Chester Colwell.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Friends can call from 11:00am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Indiana Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the New Beginnings Church of God.
