Edith Belle Burrell

Edith Belle Burrell, age 83 of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. Born January 1, 1935 in Salem, she was the daughter of James Hanner and Lucy (Frost) Hanner-Barkman. Edith was married to Marion Fleenor and Marion Clifford Burrell, who both preceded her in death.

For years, Edith took care of the elderly helping them with things around the home. She enjoyed gardening and mowing.

Survivors include her children, Roger Dale Burrell, Beverly Gale Burrell, Mark Wayne Burrell, Brenda Kay Cornett, Carol Denise Bray, Rex Allen Burrell, Clifford Leon Burrell, Mary Jane Fleenor and Marvin Fleenor. She also leaves behind two sisters, Vicky (David) Stidham, Sue (Kidd) Jones, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Donna Reynolds and brothers and sisters.

Pastor Gary Dyer will conduct funeral service at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be on Thursday from noon until service time.
