INTERESTS:    Enjoyed fishing, doing things, traveling, working in his garden and selling his produce in Scottsburg; loved his wife and children; enjoyed every Sunday evening gathered with brothers & sisters for a pitch-in supper.

         Skylar Monroe, Emily Adams, Ethan Adams, Garrett Day, Evan Day, Ashley Fish,
          Travis Simpson, Sarah Ponsler.
   Great Grandchildren: Brayden Sayers, Jaxon Sayers, Eli Sayers, Broady Sayers, Madison Poggel
       Brothers: Ralph Peacock, Virgil Peacock, Chester Peacock  
        Sisters: Carol Pyatt, Janice Jones, Violet Gudgel, Rosie Ebbing.
  Preceded in death by:  his parents; sisters Kathryn Corya and Evelyn Joan ; brother Richard Peacock.

     This man, Earl, didn't give up, he never complained. God wasn't ready for him before. He was in a car accident April 1985, received a closed head injury. Then in 2001 he had 8 blocked arteries to heal. Then he had by-pass surgery and recovered from all of this. Then in March 2016, he was diagnosed with pancreas cancer; chemo treatments, then whipple of pancreas surgery removing 1/2 of the pancreas trying to get the cancer in an 8 1/2 hour surgery; follow more chemo. The chemo was making him so weak & sick he had to stop the treatments; still fighting for his life.
