Donald Wayne Asbury

Donald Wayne Asbury, age 71, a native of Bedford, Indiana and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at I U Methodist in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on October 15, 1950 to the late Howard Wendell Asbury and the late Martha (Kesterson) Armstrong. He was a Methodist by Faith and a 1969 graduate of Seymour High School. He will forever be remembered as a very charismatic man that had a wonderful sense of humor. He would brighten a room with his smile and his wit and humor. He loved dirt track racing, singing, movie quotes and old movies, especially Clint Eastwood and John Wayne.
He is survived by his two sons, Doug Asbury and his significant other, Gloria Gebhart of Seymour, Indiana and Donald Craig Asbury and his wife Dawn of Southport, Indiana. One daughter, Donnie Asbury of Seymour, Indiana, one daughter in law, Lori Asbury of Seymour, Indiana and one brother, Tom Asbury and his wife Carol of Dayton, Ohio. Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Brian Asbury, one brother, Eddie Zimmerman, one sister, Barbara Asbury and one grand daughter, Asia Asbury.
In keeping with his wishes the family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
