Dennis Lee Spall, 60, of Seymour, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at 12:30 am at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 13, 1952, the son of William Lee and Marilyn Rose (Hubbard) Spall. On June 1, 2012 at Seymour First Church of the Nazarene, he married Kathy Lynn Webster-Beem. An avid outdoorsman, Denny was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, swimming, yard work, gardening, and tending to his Rhode Island Red chickens or just taking a moment to converse on the backyard swing. Denny was an accomplished cook and with the food he gathered he was able to provide in abundance for his family. He was great with his hands and could build and fix practically anything. Denny was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Seymour First Nazarene. He was employed at NTN Driveshaft West Plant working the 2nd shift in the maintenance department. His survivors include his wife Kathy and their children Misti (Timm) Wieneke, Kristi (Tim) Brock, Mindi (Aaron) Delph, Greg (Stephanie) Beem and Matthew (Brittney Bryant) Beem. Denny was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, Jacob and Jenna Wieneke, Emma and Eli Brock; McKenzie, Dylan, Brooklyn, and Carson Delph; Dylan, Kaden, and Treyton Beem, 2 sisters: Connie Elsner (Ronnie Whiteside) and Tammy(Rick) Marksberry, and 2 brothers: Billy Spall, and David (Wanda) Spall, and 2 aunts: Florence Huffman and Vila Ra Spall Coker, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be on Monday July 22, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 pm and on Tuesday July 23 after 8:30 until time of the service at Seymour First Nazarene, at 311 Myers Street in Seymour. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 23, 2013 at 10:00am at the Seymour First Nazarene, with Pastor Steve Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials can be given to the Seymour First Nazarene, Hospice of Schneck Medical Center, or the Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center through the funeral home.
