Dennis J. Reed

Dennis Reed, age 56 of Brownstown, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 10, 2016 with his family surrounding his bedside. Born March 15, 1960 in Seymour, he was the son of Junior and Alice (Isley) Reed.

Dennis could often be seen playing poker with family. He also loved going to casinos, fishing, mushroom hunting, swimming and junking.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Reed of Brownstown; siblings, Darrell (Debra) Reed of Vallonia, Darlene (Rossie) Jones of Indianapolis, Eugene (Jennifer Butler) Reed of Medora, Deb (Bud) Weddle of Brownstown and Drew (Sandy) Reed of Seymour. Dennis also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Junior Reed.

Kelly Reed will conduct funeral services at 1:00pm on Monday, June 13th at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 11:00am until service time. Burial will follow services at Houston Cemetery.
