Debbie L. Black

Debbie Black, age 58 of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, September 20th at Schneck Medical Center. Born March 2, 1956 in Gary, Indiana, she was the daughter of George and Virginia (McKinney) Anthony. On August 10, 1991 in Seymour, she married Matthew Black. Debbie worked at Indiana Technical Services in Seymour and was a member of the Seymour Lodge No. 418 Loyal Order of Moose. She loved to go camping, fishing watching Nascar and Horse Racing. Survivors include her husband Matt; her father George of Seymour; son Casey Black of Seymour; Daughters, Crystal (Aaron) Rollins of Seymour, Shana (Steve) Baxter of Columbus, Blaine (Daniel) Stout of Seymour, Tammi (Shawn) Ross of Freetown, Kristin (Jacob) Leavy of Seymour and Madge Black of Scottsburg. Also surviving are two brothers, Bob (Pam) Anthony and Tom (Christi) Anthony of Seymour; three sisters, Barbara (Darrell) Whitmire of Webster, KY, Bonita (Russ) Spray and Jeannie Anthony of Seymour. Grandchildren were Zain, Kaitlyn, Ethan, Makenna, Keeley, Bryce, Jacob, Sydney, L.J., Gavin, Dominant, Maverick, Lilly and Damien; her soon to be granddaughter Josie; also several nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Mike Anthony. Visitation for Debbie will be Tuesday, September 23rd from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and then on Wednesday from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre at 311 Holiday Sq. Rd. in Seymour. Brother Rick Wilson will conduct services on Wednesday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
