David W. Freeman

David Wayne Freeman, Sr., age 54 of Seymour, passed away on October 17, 2016 at Schneck Medical Center after a short illness. Born January 10, 1962 in Orange County, Indiana, he was the son of Elvis and Anna Mae (Spaulding) Freeman. On May 30, 1997, he married Melissa I. Freeman who survives.
David, a self-employed contractor, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, playing cards and watching wrestling.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Melissa (Mike) Freeman, Katie Freeman (Raymond) and Davida Freeman; son, David Wayne Freeman, Jr; two grandchildren, Jayden M. Marcum and Brayden L. Sage; brothers, Robert (Sally) Freeman, Sammy (Angie) Freeman, Paul (Jody) Freeman, Elvis Freeman, Willie Freeman and one half brother and two half sisters.
David was preceded in death by his parents, half brother, grandparents and nephew.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30am Friday October 21, 2016 at the New Life Assembly Church, 800 Brookhaven Dr, Seymour. Friends and family may gather at the church from11:00am until the time of service at 11:30am. Graveside services will follow on Friday at 1:00pm at Riverview Cemetery.
