David Lee Ackeret

David Lee Ackeret, age 57, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his residence. He was born on November 2, 1965 to the late Russell Ackeret and the late Patricia (Davis) Gordon. 

David was a master carpenter and loved building things with precision. He was outgoing, lovable and loved laugh and pick on those the loved the most. He loved children and was a big kid at heart who loved talking and telling stories. 

He is survived by his daughter, Amber Royalty of Crothersville, Indiana and one son, Corey Kubica of Boca Raton, Florida. 

Two brothers, Jamie Ackeret of Seymour, Indiana and Justin Ackeret and his wife Crystal of Salem, Indiana.

Two sisters, Debbie Ackeret of Florida and Barbara Wyatt of Seymour, Indiana. One grandson, Dakota Johnson and one on the way. He is also survived by his girlfriend of over six years, Penny Burke of Seymour, Indiana. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour, Indiana from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
