David Carr

David J. Carr, age 71 of Seymour and formerly of North Vernon, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Seymour Crossings.
Born August 27, 1941 in Four Corners he was the son of Henry Charles and Edith Marie Carr, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his step father, Sylvester Vogel, his two brothers Charles Vogel and Robert Vogel.
Mr. Carr retired form Arvin’s where he worked as a programmer. He was a lifetime member of the Seymour Bowling Association. David enjoyed traveling, computers and family genealogy.
He is survived by his sisters; Anna Mae Raver and husband Elmer, Kathlene Baurlery and husband Bill, Elizabeth Bridge and husband Jerry, Joyce Vogel and husband Gilbert, Collen Gurth, Jeanette Heckman and husband Richard, Maria Tempest and husband Mark, Marie Laymon and husband Don; his brothers; Tom Vogel and wife Louise, Paul Vogel and wife Pam, Henry Carr and wife Patty and Leonard Vogel; two sister in laws, Beverly and Pauline Vogel and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Four Corners. Arrangements are being handled by Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre.
