Danny Lee Cole

Danny Lee Cole, age 65 of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the Lutheran Community Home. Born August 9, 1952 in Salem, Indiana he was the son of Robert L. Cole and Helen (Carl) Fish. On March 27, 1976, he married Vivian Elaine (Green) Cole.

Danny was a member of the Central Christian Church in Seymour. His greatest passion came from playing the guitar. He started playing in his first band when he was 12 years old and played the rest of his life. He was part of his family band named “Country Kinfolks” and his last band was named “Blind Ambition.” He was an avid sports fan, he loved to watch and play golf and root for his favorite teams; the Chicago Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts. Danny enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and his two dogs; Murphy and Ruffus.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian, his children; Stacey Cole, Bradley Cole, Ben Cole and Danni Cowles. His brothers; Terry (Freda) Cole, Joe (Rita) Cole and Greg Cole, eight grandchildren; Kyle Cole, Maggie Shanafelt, Taylor Cole, Brooklyn Cole, Tucker Cole, Gillian Fitch, Kennedy (Braden Scarlett) Cole and Tatum Cowles, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Cole.
Pastor Martin Keller will conduct services at 12:00 PM, Saturday August 26, 2017 at the Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00 AM until the time of service.
