Christopher Lee Spellman, age 45 of Freetown, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at 8:30pm at Our hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. He was born January 18, 1970 in Seymour,
He fought a hard fight with cancer. The kind of cancer he had didn't have a cure. Our hearts always wanted one and never doubted there would be one. He found the only cure in early January Jesus. He asked God to forgive him of all wrong and that he believed Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He asked my Uncle Tom to baptize him and the Angels in heaven sang because they knew they were going to take his soul to heaven. Our hearts are shatter here on earth. In heaven they rejoice for him. I am so happy my husband made it so I will be able to see him again. He was an active tractor puller and fisherman. He is a retired Carpenter for many year. He went to school at Scottsburg Senior High. He married Elizabeth Spellman on July 30, 2001. They have a son Christopher Lee Spellman Jr. He also raised a step daughter. Christina Tucker.
