Charles Leon “Doodle” Hall, 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Garden Villa Nursing Home, Bedford, IN. He was born on December 18, 1944, the son of the late Paul “Si” Hall and Anna Mae Henderson Hall.
Doodle is survived by one daughter, Leah R. (Kyle) Jean and two sons, Anthony “Tony” D. (Tonia) Hall and Christopher “Chris” A. Hall; four grandchildren, Joshua Hall, Johnathon Hall, Chance Jean, and Lainey Jean; and two great-grandchildren Natalie Hall and Eden Hall; Margaret Faubion Hall, mother of Leah, and one brother, James “Jim” (Lisa) Hall.
He attended Clearspring High School and worked several years logging and was the owner of C L Logging.
Doodle was an avid card player and loved to socialize and drink coffee with his buddies at Denny’s in Bedford. He was a member of the Heltonville Methodist Church and the Eagles of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith Marie Hall, the mother of his sons, one brother, Ronald Dean Hall and one sister, Sherry Barrett.
Services will be conducted Monday, January 4, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Winklepleck & Brock Funeral Home, Brownstown, Indiana. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am until time of the service. Burial will follow at Kurtz Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff of Winklepleck & Brock Funeral Home in Brownstown. Due to Covid-19, we continue to follow CDC Guidelines which stipulate that face masks and social distancing are required at all times during visitations and services. In keeping with Governor Holcomb’s order, we must limit those in attendance to 25 people.
Memorials may be made to the Kurtz Cemetery through Winklepleck & Brock Funeral Home, Brownstown, Indiana.
