Charles Frederick Lockman

June 28, 1925 — December 4, 2020

Charles Frederick Lockman, age 95, a native of Bradley County, Tennessee and a resident of Medora, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Hoosier Christian Village. He was the son of the late William Lockman and the late Mary Malinda Lockman.

Charles was a man that if he could see it in his mind, he could build it. He was a man of many talents. He loved to tinker with engines and loved woodworking and was a man of the outdoors. Charles was a strong willed man that believed that a man’s word was his bond. He served his Country proudly in the United States Army during World War II, a member of the Medora Christian Church of over 31 years and worked for Brown Stoveworks for over 44 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Marie Adams of Brownstown, Indiana, Two Grandchildren, Lisa Coffey and Jennifer Sawyer. He is also survived by three great grand children, Michael, Justin and Kayla. Six great great grand children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of over 69 years, Imogene Lockman. One granddaughter, Michele Smith. Son in law, George Adams, two Brothers and five sisters.

A private family viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 followed by a private graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown, Indiana.
