Carri A. Smith

Carri Ann Smith, age 39, a native and resident of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 as a result of a traffic accident. She was born on June 16, 1982 to the late Keith and Brenda Smith. She was a member of Elevation Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. She graduated from Scottsburg High School in 2000 and later from Ivy Tech with an Associates Degree in General Business. She will forever be remembered as a funny, quirky, loving lady that spoke her mind and loved being with her family. She enjoyed picture taking, playing bingo, going to yard sales and flea markets. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting, drawing and writing poetry.
She is survived by her brother, Jack Smith of Madison, Indiana, one sister, Kendra Smith of Scottsburg, Indiana and three step sisters, Michelle Mann of Underwood, Indiana, Pam Smith of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Sheila Klimek of Madison, Indiana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Sheila K. Smith, a step brother, Ray Smith and a step sister, Kim Mitchell.
The family will receive friends on Monday April 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home. Funeral procession will begin at 12:15 for a graveside service to be held at 1:00PM at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
