Bulah M. Ross, age 88, of Paris Crossing, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at her home surrounded by family. Born April 3, 1929 in Morgan County, KY, she was the daughter of Noah and Jettie (Hatfield) Barker. She married Eugene Ross on February 16, 1946, he proceeded her in death on April 7, 1996.
Bulah retired from the Excello Shirt Factory after 30 years of service. She loved gardening, sewing, quilting, riding horses and spending time with her family. She was an active member of the Coffee Creek Christian Church for over 45 years.
She is survived by her children, Janet (Yancie) Hamblin, Noah (Kelly) Ross, Glenda (Jesse) Mangum and Mack Ross; 10 grandchildren, Gina (Glenn) Arthur, Priscilla (James) Keck, Pam (Brian) Chilcote, Yancey Hamblin, Heather Farrell, Cara Mangum, Hannah (Blake) Hatton, Levi (Amber) Ross, Dakota (Ricky) Collins and Chase Ross; two step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years; and her siblings, Lexie Barker, Woodrow Barker, Dorsey Barker and Mildred Maines.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Coffee Creek Christian Church with Rev. Ronnie McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at the Coffee Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre and again on Thursday from 10 AM until time of service at the Coffee Creek Christian Church.
