Brenda Eileen (Jones) Snyder

Brenda Eileen (Jones) Snyder, age 68, a native of Columbus, Indiana and a resident of Scipio, Indiana, passed from this life on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana. She was born on June 10, 1953 to the late Rossie Jones and the late Hazel (Helms) Jones.
Brenda will forever be remembered as a feisty, outspoken and strong woman that was the glue that held the family together. She loved the outdoors and spending time fishing, mushroom hunting, playing the guitar, growing her garden and canning. She was a wonderful cook and the family will forever treasure the memories of her famous fried potatoes, chicken and dumplings and pine apple upside down cake.
She is survived by her one son, Marvin Reynolds II and his wife Kim of Brownstown, Indiana, one daughter, Sabrena Baker and her fiance’, Jason Chew of North Vernon, Indiana. Two brothers, Steve Jones if Rushville, Indiana and Casey Jones of North Vernon, Indiana. Two sisters, Theresa Plummer of North Vernon, Indiana and Becky Payne of North Vernon, Indiana. Nine grandchildren, Kevin Reynolds, Daniel Baker, Destiny Ernstes, Samantha Hudson, Savannah Jackson, Day’z Hall, Marvin Reynolds III, Zoe Mean and Kayla Meadors. She is also survived by her life partner that she loved darly, Ron Ashburn of Scipio, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Cherri Mead, three brothers, Greg Jones, Joe Jones and Rossie Jones II.
In respecting her wishes, Brenda will be cremated and a memorial service held at a later date.
