Billy Jack Lowery

Billy Jack Lowery, age 61, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024, at 5:17 p.m. at IU hospital. He was born on October 23, 1962, in Fort Hood Texas, to Carolyn and James Lowery. Carolyn later remarried and Bill was raised in the loving home of Carolyn and Jerry Bowers. Bill was a member of the US Army, and he was the guy that could fix anything man could build. Bill helped lots of people with maintenance issues over his lifetime and he was also an organ donor and will continue to help others. He was loved by many. (Please see poem below) 

He is survived by his family, Robin Lowery of Vallonia; Sam Vago of Brownstown, Billy Jack Lowery II of Brownstown, Orland Tejeda Bailon of Seymour, and Dameon Tejeda of Brownstown, and Patricia Starr of Vallonia. 

Bill was proceeded in death by his mother, his father, his stepfather, his brothers Ray Dyas and James “Kenny” Lowery, and his sister Carolyn “Janice” Holley.

Afterglow 

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home - Winklepleck Chapel in Brownstown, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM.
