Billy Dean Thompson Jr.

Billy Dean Thompson Jr., 54, of Norman, passed away Monday, October 22nd, 2012, at his home. Born August 29, 1958, he was the son of Billy Dean, Sr. and Donna Jean (Greathouse) Thompson. Bill was known to his friends as the guy who cut and delivered firewood. He was also a guy who liked his truck, guns and 4 wheelers. He loved to buy then later trade them for the latest models. Bill was a guy with a heart of gold. Survivors include two brothers, Jimmy (Mary) Thompson and David (Maria) Thompson, both of Brownstown; one sister, Debbie Small, of Bedford; Aunts Helen Taylor of Seymour and Judy "Maw" (Lewis) Hewitt of Brownstown; nine nieces and nephews, Jimmy Thompson, Jamie Thompson, Donna (Jeremiah) Mowdy, Barbara (Michael) Tomey, Felipe Marin, Irene Thompson, Shanty McCrary and twins Cheyenne and C.L. Thompson; and 10 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patty. Pastor Steve Greene will conduct a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 27th at the Woodlawn Freetown Funeral Chapel, 4595 W 1st Street in Freetown. Friends may call from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral chapel. Cremation is taking place with his ashes being scattered by his family at his favorite hang out, the power lines.
