Betty Ellen Nolan

Betty Ellen Nolan (Hamilton), 81, of Seymour, Indiana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

Born October 3rd, 1939, Betty was just Mamaw to many. She was a beloved wife of 37 years to Steve, mother to 6, grandmother to 8, great grandmother to 11, and great great grandmother to 1.

Betty always had a smile on her face, a warm hug for those who needed it, and a plate full of food for anyone who walked through her door. You could not leave her house without a bag of groceries from the garden in the spring and summer or a canned jar of beans in the fall and winter. She loved everyone and would give her last cent to anyone in need. She attended Trinity Pentecostal Chapel in Seymour, loved her church, and loved Jesus.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, George Hamilton and Olive (Boyd) Jent, husband, Steve Nolan, son, Ronnie Harris, and siblings, Judy Fields, James McNulty, and Robert McNulty. She is survived by her brother, Ed "Buster" Hamilton, children, Barb Toppe, Bobby Harris Jr. (Debbie), Mary Fields, Glenda Teipen, Rea Webster (Robert), 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre in Seymour. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 19,2020 at 1:00pm with Brother Larry Dalton officiating. Burial to follow at Butlerville Cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Kosair Children's Hospital.

Due to COVID restrictions visitation and funeral services will be limited to 25 persons. For those unable to attend, funeral services will be live streamed on the Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre Facebook page.
