IN MEMORY OF Bernard N. “Pee Wee” Hertz Bernard N. “Pee Wee” Hertz, age 84 of Madison, passed away on Friday March 6, 2015 at Kings Daughter’s Hospital. Born January 7, 1931 in Madison, he was the son of Charles N. and Louise C. (Rousch) Hertz, who preceded him in death he was also preceded in death by his wife Verrel J. Hertz whom he married on September 14, 1957 and who passed away on January 20, 2013; one sister Patsy Hertz; four brothers Albert "Al", Charles, William and Francis “Petie” Hertz. Pee Wee retired from the U.S. Shoe Factory, he was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and joined the National Guard in 1952. He enjoyed building model airplane and bird houses and carpentry. Pee Wee also enjoyed boating and hunting when he was younger. SURVIVORS He is survived by four sisters Mary Ann Bear and her husband Ronald of Madison, Susie McKay and Joan tucker both of Madison and Marian Lynch of Bloomington, Indiana; his two brothers Joseph “Joe” Hertz and his wife Deanna and Anthony “Tony” Hertz all of Madison. Three Sister in-laws, Audrey Hertz of La Grange, Kentucky, Nancy Hertz of Monroe, Ohio and Ruth Perry of Milton, Kentucky and Thirty Seven nieces and nephews. SERVICES Father Chris Craig will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Tuesday March 10, 2015 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre-Vail Chapel, With Interment at the St. Patrick’s Cemetery. VISITATION Friends and family may call at the Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre Monday March 9, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. and from 10:00 AM to 11:00Am Tuesday March 10, 2015 at the funeral home. A rosary will be held on Monday at 6:30 PM EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY Memorial contributions can be made to the Prince of Peace Catholic Church or the Jefferson County Animal Shelter. cards will be available at the Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre.
