Barbara Jean (Heather) Borchardt

Barbara Jean (Heather) Borchardt, born on October 19, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024 at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour, Indiana. She was a beloved figure to her family and friends, known for her kind, quiet demeanor and spirited outlook on life.

Barbara found joy in the simple pleasures of life; she loved the thrill of visiting casinos, where the sparkle of the games matched her vibrant personality. She was also an avid player of cards and enjoyed engaging in games on her computer, always ready for a challenge that could spark friendly competition.

She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts. Her son, Jeffrey Borchardt of Wisconsin, and her daughters, Lynda Borchardt and her spouse Tiki of Wisconsin, Doreen Mueller and her husband Gary of Wisconsin, and Rosanne Jennings and her husband John of Seymour, Indiana, remember her with deep affection. Barbara was a cherished grandmother to eleven grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lynn Borchardt, her son Randal Borchardt, her father Thomas Heather Sr., her mother Cleo (Williams) Jones, her brother Thomas Heather Jr., her sister Patricia Kemic and her great-granddaughter Brooke Lynn Schroeder.
