Ava Marie Caudill

Ava Marie (Coombs) Caudill, 68 of Seymour passed away August 17, 2020 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born June 1, 1952 in Seymour she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Lou (Nichter) Coombs.
Ava had worked for NTN as a forklift operator. She was a member of the American Legion, the Eagles and Coffee Creek Conservation Club. Ava attended the Seymour Harvest church. She loved playing Bingo, movies, fishing, and hunting. Ava loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Ava was an excellent cook and always made the best deviled eggs, Chili, Meatloaf and Vegetable Soup
She is survived by her longtime companion and best friend of 32 years, Mike Caudill of Seymour; her daughters, Stephanie Garcia and her husband Antonio of Seymour, Brenda K. Stewart and her husband Adrian of Freetown; her sons, David Witters of Hayden, Brian Witters and Michael Smith both of Seymour; her sisters, Patty Whipker and her husband Keith of Elizabethtown and Brenda Selby and her husband Tony of Seymour; Eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marsha Hawkins and her brother Steve Coombs.
Rev. Chad Hubbard will conduct funeral services on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 12:00pm at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be given in memory of Ava to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
