Arthur Eugene Engleking, 57, of Miami, Florida, passed away on October 25 2024, at Schneck Medical Center. He was born on September20, 1967, in Seymour, Indiana, to Robert Engleking and Hester (Jarvis) Engleking, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was a Christian, whose faith guided his life and interactions. He was known for his strong will, loving nature, and a sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. Arthur had a passion for life, which was reflected in his various hobbies and interests. He found solace and pleasure in fishing, working on cars, and repairing small engines, particularly lawn mowers. He also enjoyed dancing, listening to oldies rock and roll, and exploring the picturesque countryside on rides, savoring the beauty of nature. Furthermore, he delighted in playing games on his phone, often sharing laughs and good times with family and friends.
Arthur leaves behind a loving family that includes his daughter, Amy Engleking of Miami, Florida, and his sisters, Jalie Pierson of Plainfield, Indiana, and Roberta Smith of Seymour, Indiana. He will also be remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
Arthur is now reunited in eternal rest with his beloved family members who preceded him in death: his father, Robert Engleking; his mother, Hester Engleking; and his sisters, Diane Barger, Helen Engleking, Roann Engleking, Thelma Engleking, and Zelma Engleking.
His vibrant spirit and loving influence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life at a later date.
