Anthony Lee Machen

Anthony Lee Machen, 63 of Crothersville, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at home. Born November 3, 1955 in Fond Du Lac, WI, he was the son of Jean (Machen) Erler. He was married to Teresa Machen who preceded him in death.

He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He loved fishing and camping, listening to music, especially classic rock and racing. He owned T-Tree Service until he retired himself and the business. He was a loving father and dear friend. He was free spirited and would help anyone at any time.

Survivors include his 4 children, Anthony A. (Traci) Root of North Vernon, Tressa L. Machen of Seymour and Crystal V. Machen and Anthony L. Machen II both of Crothersville; He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Anthony was preceded in death by his mother; his guardian, Marvin Dyer; wife, Teresa Machen and daughter Vivian Machen.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3:00pm at the Shields Park shelter house as per his wishes. Cremation was chosen and the family will spread his ashes at a later date.
