Anthony Edward Richko III, age 20, a native of McHenry, Illinois and a resident of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 as a result of an Automobile accident. He was born on March 29, 2001 to Anthony "Tony" Edward Richko Jr of Chicago, Illinois and Jennifer (Phillips) Davis of Crothersville, Indiana. He was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Seymour, Indiana. He graduated in May of 2020 from Austin High School. He was a local track star and received a scholarship for his athletic abilities. He completed a semester at Manchester University with a major in general studies before pursuing his desire to serve his Country. PFC Anthony Edward Richko III, was a proud active duty member of the Indiana Army National Guard after completing his training at Fort Benning. His eventual dream was to be a Firefighter, following in the footsteps of his Father. He enjoyed gaming on his X-box or the computer that he built on his own. He was a shy, goofy, humble, respectful kid that loved his friends and would help anyone that needed him. He was a dedicated "Big Bro" and leader of the pack to his five brothers, one sister and one sister in Heaven. Anthony was an amazing young man and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him and each life he touched.
He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Davis and her husband Doug Sr. of Crothersville, Indiana and his Father, Anthony Edward Richko Jr and his wife Nicole of Chicago, Illinois. Five Brothers, Dominic Richko of Chicago, Illinois, Aiden Phillips of Crothersville, Indiana, Vincent Richko of Chicago, Illinois, Franco Richko of Chicago, Illinois and Dougie Davis Jr of Crothersville, Indiana. One sister, Gabriella Richko of Chicago, Illinois. Maternal Grandmother, Alice Phillips of Austin, Indiana, Paternal Grandmother, Monica Hidalgo and her husband Javier of Round Lake Beach, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Addison Davis, Maternal Grandfather, Patti Phillips, Maternal step-Grandfather, Thomas Connolly and Paternal Grandfather, Anthony Edward Richko Sr.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kenny Roberson officiating. Anthony will be laid to rest at New Providence Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
