Albanie D. Lamothe

Albanie D. LaMothe, age 77, of Madison, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at his residence. Born September 7, 1936 in Sudbury, Ontario, he was the son of Guildos and Gabrielle (Godon) LaMothe, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Isabelle. After retiring from J I Case in Davenport, Iowa, Mr. LaMothe worked at Rotary Lift and Reliance Electric in Madison for several years. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Madison. Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Chance) LaMothe; two sons, Robert E. LaMothe and his wife, Jennie and Dennis A. LaMothe and his wife, Michelle; three daughters, Jessie Edens, Stacy Wells and her husband, Josh and Linda Heston; nine grandchildren, Kate and Noah LaMothe, Lauren and Coleman LaMothe, Kierra, Tayran and Rashan Wells, Candy Smitson and Paul Ballard and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Vail Funeral Chapel, 117 Holt Drive. Family and friends may call at the Vail Funeral Chapel, 117 Holt Drive from 10:00am until time of service on Thursday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Contribution cards will be available at the Vail Funeral Chapel.
