Phillip Alexander Hardin

Phillip Alexander Hardin, 74, of Austin IN, passed away Monday, May 29 2023 at his residence. Phil was born October 5 1948 in Scottsburg IN to the late Dennis J Hardin and the late Betty Joyce Alexander Hardin. He was a graduate of Scottsburg High School, Class of 1967; played varsity basketball and still holds the track team record at SHS. He was an honorary member of the Jennings Twp Conservation Club and the Woodman Lodge. He also held membership with First Christian Church of Scottsburg. Phil was retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company. Survivors: son Eric Michael Hardin (Jennifer Bloch) of Athens WI; daughter Julie H Hardin of Austin IN; grandchildren Blake Hardin, Skyler Literski, Jozy Hardin, Jazzalynn Hardin. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings Roy Hardin, Rick Hardin, and Sheri Rae Hardin.
