Patrick Brooks

Patrick Donald Brooks, age 62, a native of Marion County, Indiana and a resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late Kenneth Brooks and the late Carolyn Brooks.
Patrick will forever be remembered as a big hearted man that would give his shirt off his back to anyone that needed him and loved his family dearly.
He was a great listener and a man of few words and had a wonderful sense of humor. He took great pride in his yard and was very meticulous. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, the Indianapolis Colts, guns and especially his dogs J.J., Buckshot and Gus.
He is survived by his two sons, Garron Barger and his wife Natausha of Austin, Indiana and Nicholas Barker and his wife Lee of Scottsburg, Indiana.
Ten grandchildren, Logan Wright, Alexis Wright, Mackenzie Broadus, Kaley Barger, Mason Barger, Jase Barger, R. J. Barker, Alexander Barker, Miles Barger and Taven Barker. Two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of eleven years, Tracy Barker Brooks.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home with services beginning at 1:00 PM.
