Leslie W. Weimer

Leslie W. Weimer, age 63 of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his home. Born February 25, 1953 in Lafayette, Indiana, he was the son of Herb and Arabella (Hollopeter) Weimer.
He was a 1971 graduate of Brownstown High School. As a teen, Leslie helped a local motorcycle shop doing repairs. In 1972, he went to work for Cummins Engine Company and retired in 2003 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed camping and fishing and was a member of the National Street Rod Association. He had purchased a 1934 Ford and enjoyed working on that.
Survivors include father Herb Weimer of Westcliffe, CO; sons, Seth (Jill) Weimer of Bartlesville, OK and Andy Weimer of Brownstown; brother, Jay (Cookie) Weimer of Oxford, AL; sister, Holly (Danny) Donaldson of Denver, IN; grandchildren, Lillian, Evelyn and Harrison. Leslie is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Leslie was preceded in death by his mother.
