Jonathan Adam Saunders

Jonathan Adam Saunders, age 50, a native of Louisville, Kentucky and a resident of Salem, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 at his residence. He was born on March 24, 1973 to the late John Saunders and the late Sara (Brown) Saunders. He was a Christian by faith. He will forever be remembered as a loving, warm man that was especially loyal to his family. He was loved by all who knew him. He loved video gaming, computers and was a Volkswagen enthusiast. He enjoyed decorating for holidays, especially Halloween. Johnathan loved his family dearly and especially his grand babies and being a good "dog daddy".

He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Gibson) Saunders of Salem, Indiana, One son, Michael Saunders of Washington and one step son, James Kennedy and his wife Brandy of Bloomington, Indiana. Two daughters, Miranda Saunders of Louisville, Kentucky and Alicia Saunders and her husband Joachim of Henryville, Indiana. Two step daughters, Dakota Skaggs of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Elizabeth Skaggs of Salem, Indiana. One brother, Ken Saunders and his wife Felicia of Louisville, Kentucky. Six grandchildren, Natalie, Felicity, Isaiah, Xavier, Alexander and Lorelei. 

He is also survived by his step mother, Martha Saunders of Louisville, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating.
