Jared H. Gans

Jared H. Gans. age 38, a native of Seymour, Indiana and a resident of Brownstown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana. He was born on March 26, 1985 to the late Jerry Gans and Sue (Wilson) Gans of Brownstown, Indiana. Jared was Pentecostal by faith. He was a quiet, shy man that stayed much to himself and valued his friends and family. He enjoyed video games, watching movies and was an avid Batman fan. He also enjoyed playing instruments and loving on his fur babies. 

He is survived by his mother and numerous brothers and sisters. Two aunts, Shirley Trowbridge of Seymour, Indiana and Marie Harris of Lebanon, Indiana. Three uncles, Robert Wilson of Clear Spring, Indiana,  Greg Wilson of Freetown, Indiana and Darryl Gans of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Maternal grandmother, Lucy Wilson Hollin, grandfather, Harold "Buck" Wilson and step grandfather, Ed Hollin.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home - Winklepleck Chapel in Brownstown, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Sister Gayle Skaggs officiating. 

The family requests that memorial donations be directed to Red Sky Rescue.
