Georgia (Wayman) Baker

Georgia Mae (Wayman) Baker, age 74, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 a day after the passing of her beloved husband. She was born on May 20, 1948 to the late Herman Wayman Sr. and the late Mildred McKain Wayman.

She was a Christian by faith. She was a lady that was very set in her ways and loved her family very much. She enjoyed ceramics, pottery, painting and shopping QVC.

She is survived by her son, Richard "Rick" Marksberry and his wife Tammy of Seymour, Indiana and one daughter Angie Marksberry of Seymour, Indiana. Three brothers, Charles McKain and his wife Phyllis of Seymour, Indiana, Don Wayman of Jennings County, Indiana and Ronald "Ron" Wayman and his wife Jan of North Vernon, Indiana. Two sisters, Sandra Jordan of Seymour, Indiana and Jeanie O'Mara and her husband Mark of Seymour, Indiana.

Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Carol Peters and one brother in law, Gerald Peters.

Funeral Services for Mr. and Mrs. Baker will on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating.
